Probably, not sure but I think the original idea was to allow players to use their local vault custom characters in the GodSpire arena server then have a seperate Role Playing GodSpire server that used server vault characters.
I think Talon had some insane notion of actually having a single mod switch between local/server vault characters depending on what areas you were in. Probably using NWNX and ODBC databases, which was how he added wings/tails back before one of the patches broke it.
Regardless of how it was to be done, the City of Illuvitar (sp?) that can be reached by telling Vash to take you to the Shores of Illuvitar City, was suppose to be the server vault RPG area.
Guess we'll just have to see what sort of goodness Talon has for us in NWN2.
