theres even guys playing oblivion with 64 mb cards and 256 mb ram with oldblivion (lowest settings) the only really needed thing is a 1.1 pixel shader card at least, so oldblivion can emulate the rest

few months ago i bough a geforce FX 5600 that had pixel shader 2.0 (the actually needed for oblivion itself) but at the 2nd day it was overheating already so i had to retrieve it and they changed me it for a radeon 9250 (the one i actually have) then they said it was cheaper and actually was the same -.- (why the hell i didnt looked at the card specs) i didnt noticed it was just pixel shader 1.4 till like 2 months after when i got oblivion  <_<  but at least i can play thanks to that oldblivion program. i have to buy another 512 RAM, a new hard disk ( REALLY NEEDED) starting to hate that i cant have more than 2 games installed  :angry:, and a 3.0 Shader card b4 nwn 2 comes out :P
Hard disk SURELY next month (who can really do anythin with 18 gb hard disk nowadays), i hope.  :rolleyes:

yes it has everythin cos its just a shader file replacement and the exe that sends the code to the oblivion.exe, the only thing it doesnt have (yet)  its the reflective water and its waves, water its just blue for me. theres like 7 oldblivion versions already, also theres a HUGE difference from lowest settings to hightest ones with good graphic cards.

Gotta love adding reflections for Tree's, Land, Rocks, Misc and Creatures. Looks great, Oh and pushing the grass draw distance right out... Oh cant forget the mods that are out enabling you to see ALL ruins and buildings rocks etc at a distance on the horizon etc. Looks amazing.

Bought the game for the PS3 today. I never played it before and so it's a very good catch since it's also very cheap compared to other PS3 games. =P So far the game is fucking awesome even though I wasted two hours on character creation.

Anyway any tips so I won't run into nasty situations? =D

Go to the arena in Imperial City and fight in there, you get a fucking awesome gladiator feeling, do the fighters, mages guild quests, the best quests (imo) are the dark brotherhood quests they pwn!

Yup definetly need to be cautious about that.

Made it to grand champion in the arena last night. =D It was a lot of fun! Maybe I should put the difficulty level a bit higher though...
