Seems that no matter where I go
Even though it's fun and I have a great time
It could be better if you were there with me

Everytime I see the trailer to a movie
If it looks worthwhile to go
You are the first I want to ask to see it with

I can go hang out with my friends
People I've known for a very long time
But the group isn't complete without you in it

The list of friends I do hang out with a lot is short
Yet they are all kind and caring people
You are the most kind and caring of them all

I can talk to any girl, new or old
And I might have a good conversation
But no one can bring a smile to me my face like you can

I don't know what the future holds for us
There may not be one
But you are here in my present



...what exactly am I expecting out of this?  nothing, i just posted it in case someone likes to read poems.

its really hard to write poetry which everyone likes
because sometimes it becomes good after several readings and thinkings (usually after poet is very old or deceased)
its not a bad passage
maybe just not my type atm.

Here's an easy one. Anyone guess where this one came from?

"Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,

What u think about this 1? Remember, length doesnt matter in poetry , sometimes small, on first sight silly phrases , can get really strong:

Mirror,mirror on the wall,
You make me feel so low,
Mirror,mirror on the wall,
Now i have to go.

and this isn't really a poem, but I really like it and if you think about it.... the way it's cut out makes it seem like one :D
