By best game music i mean you can just listen to the music just like a CD and it is really nice. Here are my favourites :-

Best Best! :-
Homeworld 1 (Agnes Dei of course!!!!)
Mechwarrior 2
Magic & Mayhem 1
Warlords 3 (turn based one)
CNC RA (this type of music has still not been beaten in any game)

I am sure there must be lots of others. I tend to like anime music a lot so.... i do like anime game music except that they are not always consistent eg: Phantasy Star.

Which ones do you like?

Has Rammstein and such on it.

Good God don't forget Final Fantasy, the music kixx ass on that game.

and full matal alchomists music theme, it's a show but yeah
