Holy avenger

Holy avenger should work like this recording to the games manual:
-- for paladin --
--> +5 enhancement bonus
--> 1d6 holy damage (doesn't say only vs evil in the manual  :huh: )
--> onhit dispel
-- non-paladin --
--> +2 enhancement bonus

How it works in nwn:
-- for paladin --
--> +5 enhancement bonus
--> 1d6 holy damage vs evil
--> onhit dispel
-- non-paladin --
--> +2 enhancement bonus
--> onhit dispel

The dispel onhit for non-pala's seems a problem to some poeple, changing it will probably have the item property nerfed below the +2 enhancement bonus for non-pala.

I like to know what others think. Myself, I not really care about it. It helps against acid sheat for other classes and doesn't unbalance. And it's not changed on gs.

Feel free to give a comment why you vote for something.

I agree with mo, it shouldnt dispel if your not a paladin or a cleric. It didnt work like that in reg nwn or sou. So it shouldnt in hotu :).

pls keep the on hit dispel

keeping properties the same as the rest of nwn or as close to that as possible  makes it easier for new players to come and use their builds without wondering "why" their non-pally HA doesnt dispel.

the more we make gs rules unique and hard to explain, the fewer new players will be inclined to come and stay.

Seems like most want it dispel only for pala. And I think it's rather confusing for new players that ha does dispel whit non-pala.

Anyway I'm busy whit cleaning out a backup (100gb) and it's x-mas.

HA now gives +1 on arivs and no more for a non-pala. The reazon why it's not +2 is that the cost of HA is lower than +2. It would make the item too high cost. (scripting a way around it would be way to long for just this)

For pala, everything stays the same.
